RÉMI RIOU, General Manager
Rémi has more than 20 years of experience within the industrial and manufacturing environments, he most recently held the position of CFO for Motion Technologies within ITT Corporation. Prior to ITT, Rémi spent the majority of his career at Valeo, a global company focused on automotive systems and products. During his tenure, he held various financial positions in the US, Mexico, France, Italy, Spain and Brazil. In addition, he was the CFO and Chief Operating Officer for Orangina Schweppes, where he supported the company`s successful turnaround growth plan. Rémi holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the European Business School and an Executive MBA from the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris.
DR. ABDUL-HAFIZ AFANEH, Vice President of Global Engineering
With over 25 years of experience within the automotive and aerospace industries, Dr. Afaneh held positions as the Manager of Drive Systems at GE Aviation, and Engineering Director of Chassis Systems at Robert Bosch, LLC. Dr. Afaneh has a Ph.D. and Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Jordan University.
ROD IAMURRI, Executive Director Global Operations
With over 25 years of operations experience in the automotive and aerospace industry, Rod most recently held the position of Vice President of North America Quality & Operational Excellence at Inalfa Roof Systems. In addition, he held leadership roles at Inalfa Roof Systems for over 10 years, which included Vice President of Operations, Director of Lean Manufacturing and Plant Manager. Prior, he spent 13 years at Danaher in Engineering and Operations roles. FRANCESCO LAURERI, Industrial Project Director
Francesco has more than 15 years of experience in industrial and manufacturing environments. Francesco most recently held the position of Industrial Organizational Director at ITT Motion Technologies. Prior, he held Operational leadership roles at Franke, UTC and Eaton Corporation. Francesco holds a Master’s Degree in Aeronautic Engineering.
DR. PETER KNITTIG, Managing Director, Germany
Peter has more than 23 years of professional and global experience within Engineering, Sales & Marketing and R&D within the automotive and brake industry. Most recently, Peter was the Chairman of the Board at Conttek Holding. In addition, he held executive positions with MAHLE and Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems. Peter has a Doctorate and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Sophia University, Master’s degree in Business Administration with a major in International Finance from Huron International University and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Munich University of Applied Science.
ERIC DENYS, Vice President of Supply Chain
Eric has more than 20 years of experience in the Automotive and Brake Industry. Eric held the following positions: NVH Manager, Director of Global Engineering, and Vice President of Global Sales for the Brake Business with Material Sciences Corporation (MSC). He has an MBA from the University of Michigan, a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Universite de Technologie de Compiegne and a Bachelor’s Degree in Math/Physics from Jean Bart University.
CARI BORGNA, Executive Director, Continuous Improvement
With over 15 years of global experience in tax and acquisition integration planning, Cari most recently held the position of Senior Tax Counsel at ITT Corporation, Vice President of Tax at Contour Global and Vice President of US-International Tax at The Nielsen Company. Cari has a BA in English Literature and Music Performance from the University of Richmond and a JD and MBA from the University of Richmond.
STEVE HADDAD, Executive Director Human Resources
With over 16 years of Human Resources experience, Steve most recently held the position of Director Human Resources for Shiloh Industries. Steve has held progressive Human Resource leadership and strategic business partner roles at Boehringer-Ingelheim, Dana Holding Corporation, and Chrysler. Steve earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Oakland University.
